EVC2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein EvC ciliary complex subunit 2, which is encoded by the EVC2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the EvC complex that positively regulates ciliary Hedgehog (Hh) signaling. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 1308 residues and a mass of 147.9 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. The EVC2 gene has been associated with the disease, Ellis-van Creveld syndrome. Other alias names for this target include Ellis van Creveld syndrome 2, ellis-van Creveld syndrome protein 2, and limbin.
Some EVC2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
