OGFOD1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein 2-oxoglutarate and iron dependent oxygenase domain containing 1, which is encoded by the OGFOD1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a prolyl 3-hydroxylase that catalyzes 3-hydroxylation of 'Pro-62' of small ribosomal subunit uS12 (RPS23), thereby regulating protein translation termination efficiency. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 542 residues, a mass of 63.2 kDa, and is a member of the TPA1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include prolyl 3-hydroxylase OGFOD1, 2-oxoglutarate and iron-dependent oxygenase domain-containing protein 1, TPA1, termination and polyadenylation 1, homolog, termination and polyadenylation 1 homolog, and TPA1.
The detection range for different OGFOD1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
