TROAP ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein trophinin associated protein, which is encoded by the TROAP gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is suspected to be involved in with bystin and trophinin in a cell adhesion molecule complex that mediates an initial attachment of the blastocyst to uterine epithelial cells at the time of the embryo implantation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 778 residues and a mass of 83.9 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include trophinin assisting protein, trophinin-assisting protein (tastin), and TASTIN.
The detection range for different TROAP ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
