The SYT13 protein is described to be 426 amino acid residues in length and 46.9 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in the brain, pancreas and kidney. Other names for this target antigen include synaptotagmin XIII.
