PRIM2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein DNA primase subunit 2, which is encoded by the PRIM2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a regulatory subunit of the DNA primase complex and component of the DNA polymerase alpha complex (also known as the alpha DNA polymerase-primase complex) which play an essential role in the initiation of DNA synthesis. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 509 residues, a mass of 58.8 kDa, and is a member of the Eukaryotic-type primase large subunit protein family. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include PRIM2A and p58.
The detection range for different PRIM2 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
