HYAL4 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein hyaluronidase 4, which is encoded by the HYAL4 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported endo-hyaluronidase that degrades hyaluronan to smaller oligosaccharide fragments. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 481 residues, a mass of 54.2 kDa, and is a member of the Glycosyl hydrolase 56 protein family. It is known to be localized in the membrane and is notably expressed in placenta and skeletal muscle. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include chondroitin sulfate endo-beta-N-acetylgalactosaminidase, chondroitin sulfate hydrolase, hyaluronoglucosaminidase 4, and CSHY.
Some HYAL4 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
