DCUN1D2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein defective in cullin neddylation 1 domain containing 2, which is encoded by the DCUN1D2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is said to contribute to the neddylation of all cullins by transferring NEDD8 from N-terminally acetylated NEDD8-conjugating E2s enzyme to different cullin C-terminal domain-RBX complexes and plays an essential role in the regulation of SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein)-type complexes activity. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 259 residues and a mass of 30.2 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is notably expressed in liver, kidney and brain. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include DCNL2, DCN1-like protein 2, DCN1, defective in cullin neddylation 1, domain containing 2, DCUN1 domain-containing protein 2, defective in cullin neddylation protein 1-like protein 2, and C13orf17.
The detection range for different DCUN1D2 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
