ATIC ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein 5-aminoimidazole-4-carboxamide ribonucleotide formyltransferase/IMP cyclohydrolase, which is encoded by the ATIC gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a bifunctional enzyme that catalyzes the last two steps of purine biosynthesis. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 592 residues, a mass of 64.6 kDa, and is a member of the PurH protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The ATIC gene has been associated with the disease, AICA-ribosuria due to ATIC deficiency. Other alias names for this target include AICARFT, HEL-S-70p, IMPCHASE, PURH, and AICAR.
There are ATIC ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 7.81 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
