MTMR7 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein myotubularin related protein 7, which is encoded by the MTMR7 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported phosphatase that specifically dephosphorylates phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate (PtdIns(3)P) and inositol 1,3-bisphosphate (Ins(1,3)P2). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 660 residues, a mass of 75.8 kDa, and is a member of the Protein-tyrosine phosphatase protein family. It is known to be localized in the membrane and cytoplasm and is notably expressed in the brain. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include inositol 1,3-bisphosphate phosphatase and phosphatidylinositol-3-phosphate phosphatase.
The detection range for different MTMR7 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
