FOXA3 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein forkhead box A3, which is encoded by the FOXA3 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a transcription factor that is thought to act as a 'pioneer' factor opening the compacted chromatin for other proteins through interactions with nucleosomal core histones and thereby replacing linker histones at target enhancer and/or promoter sites (By similarity). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 350 residues and a mass of 37.1 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is reported to be expressed in erythroleukemia and hepatoma cell lines and in liver and pancreas. Other alias names for this target include HNF3G, TCF3G, hepatocyte nuclear factor 3-gamma, HNF-3-gamma, HNF-3G, and FKHH3.
