These PGI ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of PGI in biological samples. PGI is an alias of the human PGPEP1 gene, which encodes the protein, pyroglutamyl-peptidase I. Notably, PGI is known to play a role in proteolysis, among other functions. The PGPEP1 protein is 209 amino acid residues in length and 23.1 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. Other names for this target antigen include PAP-I and PGP.
Some PGI ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 24.58 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
