CHD5 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein chromodomain helicase DNA binding protein 5, which is encoded by the CHD5 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a chromatin-remodeling protein that binds DNA through histones and regulates gene transcription. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1954 residues, a mass of 223.1 kDa, and is a member of the SNF2/RAD54 helicase protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is found to be highly expressed in total brain, fetal brain, and cerebellum. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally methylated. The CHD5 gene has been associated with the disease, Parenti-Mignot neurodevelopmental syndrome. Other alias names for this target include PMNDS and ATP-dependent helicase CHD5.
Some CHD5 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 18.75 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
