CBX8 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein chromobox 8, which is encoded by the CBX8 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the Polycomb group (PcG) multiprotein PRC1-like complex, a complex class required to maintain the transcriptionally repressive state of many genes, including Hox genes, throughout development. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 389 residues and a mass of 43.4 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus. Other alias names for this target include Pc class 3 homolog, chromobox homolog 8 (Pc class homolog, Drosophila), polycomb 3, rectachrome 1, and chromobox protein homolog 8.
There are CBX8 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
