SENP5 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein SUMO specific peptidase 5, which is encoded by the SENP5 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported protease that catalyzes two essential functions in the SUMO pathway: processing of full-length SUMO3 to its mature form and deconjugation of SUMO2 and SUMO3 from targeted proteins. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 755 residues, a mass of 86.7 kDa, and is a member of the Peptidase C48 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include SUMO1/sentrin specific peptidase 5, SUMO1/sentrin specific protease 5, sentrin/SUMO-specific protease SENP5, and sentrin-specific protease 5.
The detection range for different SENP5 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
