RC3H1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ring finger and CCCH-type domains 1, which is encoded by the RC3H1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be a post-transcriptional repressor of mRNAs containing a conserved stem loop motif, called constitutive decay element (CDE), which is often located in the 3'-UTR, as in HMGXB3, ICOS, IER3, NFKBID, NFKBIZ, PPP1R10, TNF, TNFRSF4 and in many more mRNAs. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 1133 residues and a mass of 125.7 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is widely expressed across many tissue types. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally cleaved. The RC3H1 gene has been associated with the disease, Immune dysregulation and systemic hyperinflammation syndrome.
