HEBP1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein heme binding protein 1, which is encoded by the HEBP1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is believed to bind free porphyrinogens that may be present in the cell and thus facilitate removal of these potentially toxic compound. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 189 residues, a mass of 21.1 kDa, and is a member of the HEBP protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm. Other alias names for this target include HEBP, p22HBP, and HBP.
Some HEBP1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.05 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
