DRP2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein dystrophin related protein 2, which is encoded by the DRP2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be required for normal myelination and for normal organization of the cytoplasm and the formation of Cajal bands in myelinating Schwann cells. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 957 residues and a mass of 108 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is notably expressed in fetal brain. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported.
Some DRP2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
