SART1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein spliceosome associated factor 1, recruiter of U4/U6.U5 tri-snRNP, which is encoded by the SART1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to play a role in in mRNA splicing as a component of the U4/U6-U5 tri-snRNP, one of the building blocks of the spliceosome. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 800 residues, a mass of 90.3 kDa, and is a member of the SNU66/SART1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally sumoylated. Other alias names for this target include HAF, HOMS1, SART1259, SNRNP110, Snu66, U4/U6.U5 tri-snRNP-associated protein 1, IgE autoantigen, and Ara1.
