These DAP6 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of DAP6 in biological samples. DAP6 is an alias of the human DAXX gene, which encodes the protein, death domain associated protein. Notably, DAP6 is known to play a role in chromatin remodeling and the apoptotic pathway, among other functions. The DAXX protein is 740 amino acid residues in length and 81.4 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 5 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. This protein is known to be ubiquitinated, sumoylated and phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include BING2 and EAP1.
The detection range for different DAP6 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 62.5 pg/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
