However, as many as 3 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the cell membrane, nucleus, mitochondria, and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. This protein is known to be ubiquitinated, myristoylated and phosphorylated.
