FZD8 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein frizzled class receptor 8, which is encoded by the FZD8 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known receptor for Wnt proteins. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 694 residues, a mass of 73.3 kDa, and is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor Fz/Smo protein family. It is known to be localized in the golgi and cell membrane and is notably expressed in fetal kidney, followed by brain and lung. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated and glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include hFZ8, frizzled-8, frizzled 8, seven transmembrane spanning receptor, frizzled family receptor 8, frizzled homolog 8, and FZ-8.
The detection range for different FZD8 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 15.6 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
