CHMP5 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein charged multivesicular body protein 5, which is encoded by the CHMP5 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a suspected peripherally associated component of the endosomal sorting required for transport complex III (ESCRT-III) which is involved in multivesicular bodies (MVBs) formation and sorting of endosomal cargo proteins into MVBs. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 219 residues, a mass of 24.6 kDa, and is a member of the SNF7 protein family. It is known to be localized in the membrane and cytoplasm. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include CGI-34, HSPC177, PNAS-2, SNF7DC2, Vps60, SNF7 domain containing 2, SNF7 domain-containing protein 2, and C9orf83.
The detection range for different CHMP5 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
