These Thymosin beta 4 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of Thymosin beta 4 in biological samples. Thymosin beta 4 is an alias of the human TMSB4X gene, which encodes the protein, thymosin beta 4 X-linked. Notably, Thymosin beta 4 is known to play a role in the regulation of cell differentiation, among other functions. The TMSB4X protein is described to be 44 amino acid residues in length and 5.1 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in several hemopoietic cell lines and lymphoid malignant cells. Other names for this target antigen include FX, PTMB4, and TB4X.
Some Thymosin beta 4 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.1 ng/mL and as high as 10 µg/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
