CYP2C8 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein cytochrome P450 family 2 subfamily C member 8, which is encoded by the CYP2C8 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a cytochrome P450 monooxygenase involved in the metabolism of various endogenous substrates, including fatty acids, steroid hormones and vitamins. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 490 residues, a mass of 55.8 kDa, and is a member of the Cytochrome P450 protein family. It is known to be localized in the ER. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include CYP2C8DM, CYPIIC8, MP-12/MP-20, cytochrome P450 2C8, P450 form 1, and CPC8.
There are CYP2C8 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.313 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
