These HIF2 alpha ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of HIF2 alpha in biological samples. HIF2 alpha is an alias of the human EPAS1 gene, which encodes the protein, endothelial PAS domain protein 1. Notably, HIF2 alpha is known to play a role in angiogenesis and the cellular response to hypoxia, among other functions. The EPAS1 protein is described to be 870 amino acid residues in length and 96.5 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in most tissues, with highest levels in placenta, lung and heart. This protein is known to be ubiquitinated and phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include ECYT4, HIF2A, and HLF.
The detection range for different HIF2 alpha ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 31.3 pg/mL and as high as 5000 pg/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
