NOTCH1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein notch receptor 1, which is encoded by the NOTCH1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to function as a receptor for membrane-bound ligands Jagged-1 (JAG1), Jagged-2 (JAG2) and Delta-1 (DLL1) to regulate cell-fate determination. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 2555 residues, a mass of 272.5 kDa, and is a member of the NOTCH protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cell membrane. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally O-glycosylated, ubiquitinated, cleaved and phosphorylated. The NOTCH1 gene has been associated with the disease, Aortic valve disease. Other alias names for this target include AOVD1, TAN1, hN1, neurogenic locus notch homolog protein 1, Notch homolog 1, translocation-associated, and AOS5.
Some NOTCH1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.39 pg/mL and as high as 150 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
