MRE11 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein MRE11 homolog, double strand break repair nuclease, which is encoded by the MRE11 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the MRN complex, which plays a central role in double-strand break (DSB) repair, DNA recombination, maintenance of telomere integrity and meiosis. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 708 residues, a mass of 80.6 kDa, and is a member of the MRE11/RAD32 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated. The MRE11 gene has been associated with the disease, Ataxia-telangiectasia-like disorder. Other alias names for this target include HNGS1, MRE11A, MRE11B, double-strand break repair protein MRE11, AT-like disease, and ATLD.
Some MRE11 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
