LY86 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein lymphocyte antigen 86, which is encoded by the LY86 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is believed to cooperate with CD180 and TLR4 to mediate the innate immune response to bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and cytokine production. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 162 residues and a mass of 17.9 kDa. It is known to be secreted and is reported to be highly expressed in B-cells, monocytes and tonsil. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include MD1, MMD-1, dJ80N2.1, MD-1, RP105-associated, protein MD-1, and MD-1.
There are Ly86 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 20 ng/L and as high as 100 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
