CYP2B6 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein cytochrome P450 family 2 subfamily B member 6, which is encoded by the CYP2B6 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a cytochrome P450 monooxygenase involved in the metabolism of endocannabinoids and steroids. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 491 residues, a mass of 56.3 kDa, and is a member of the Cytochrome P450 protein family. It is known to be localized in the ER and is reported to be expressed in liver, lung and heart right ventricle. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. Other alias names for this target include CYP2B, CYP2B7, CYP2B7P, CYPIIB6, EFVM, IIB1, P450, and CPB6.
The detection range for different CYP2B6 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 20 ng/L and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
