CD5 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein CD5 molecule, which is encoded by the CD5 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is believed to act as a receptor in regulating T-cell proliferation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 495 residues and a mass of 54.6 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated and glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include T1, T-cell surface glycoprotein CD5, CD5 antigen (p56-62), epididymis secretory sperm binding protein, lymphocyte antigen T1/Leu-1, and LEU1.
The detection range for different CD5 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 12.5 pg/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
