The following Annexin A1 ELISA kits are useful research tools for the measurement of annexin A1 in biological samples. In humans this protein is encoded by the ANXA1 gene. This protein is known to play important roles in the innate immune response as effector of glucocorticoid-mediated responses and regulator of the inflammatory process. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 346 residues, a mass of 38.7 kDa, and is a member of the Annexin protein family. It is notably expressed in resting neutrophils. In certain instances, it is also post-translationally sumoylated, cleaved and phosphorylated. This protein may also be known as LPC1, annexin I (lipocortin I), annexin-1, calpactin II, calpactin-2, and ANX1.
The detection range for different Annexin A1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.3125 pg/mL and as high as 1500 ng/mL.
