The SLC12A7 protein is 1083 amino acid residues in length and 119.1 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is notably expressed in muscle, brain, lung, heart and kidney. This protein is known to be glycosylated. Other names for this target antigen include K-Cl cotransporter 4.
