MAGEA11 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein MAGE family member A11, which is encoded by the MAGEA11 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to act as androgen receptor coregulator that increases androgen receptor activity by modulating the receptors interdomain interaction. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 429 residues and a mass of 48.1 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in tumors of several types, such as melanoma, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, lung carcinoma and breast carcinoma. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include MAGE-11, MAGE11, melanoma-associated antigen 11, MAGE-11 antigen, cancer/testis antigen 1.11, and CT1.11.
