OTUB2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein OTU deubiquitinase, ubiquitin aldehyde binding 2, which is encoded by the OTUB2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known hydrolase that can remove conjugated ubiquitin from proteins in vitro and may therefore play an important regulatory role at the level of protein turnover by preventing degradation. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 234 residues, a mass of 27.2 kDa, and is a member of the Peptidase C65 protein family. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include OTU domain, ubiquitin aldehyde binding 2, OTU domain-containing ubiquitin aldehyde-binding protein 2, deubiquitinating enzyme OTUB2, otubain-2, and ubiquitin thioesterase OTUB2.
The detection range for different OTUB2 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 15 ng/L and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
