It is known to be secreted and is reported to be highly expressed in placenta. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The ODAPH gene has been associated with the disease, Amelogenesis imperfecta. Other alias names for this target include amelogenesis imperfecta type IIA4 and uncharacterized protein C4orf26.
