OLIG2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein oligodendrocyte transcription factor 2, which is encoded by the OLIG2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be required for oligodendrocyte and motor neuron specification in the spinal cord, as well as for the development of somatic motor neurons in the hindbrain. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 323 residues and a mass of 32.4 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in the brain, in oligodendrocytes. Other alias names for this target include OLIGO2, PRKCBP2, RACK17, bHLHe19, basic domain, helix-loop-helix protein, class B, 1, and BHLHB1.
There are OLIG2 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 15.6 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
