SELENOF ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein selenoprotein F, which is encoded by the SELENOF gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is suspected to be involved in redox reactions associated with the formation of disulfide bonds (By similarity). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 165 residues, a mass of 18.1 kDa, and is a member of the Selenoprotein M/F protein family. It is known to be localized in the ER and is notably expressed in prostate and thyroid gland. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include 15 kDa selenoprotein.
There are SELENOF ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
