DYNC1LI2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein dynein cytoplasmic 1 light intermediate chain 2, which is encoded by the DYNC1LI2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to act as one of several non-catalytic accessory components of the cytoplasmic dynein 1 complex that are thought to be involved in linking dynein to cargos and to adapter proteins that regulate dynein function. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 492 residues, a mass of 54.1 kDa, and is a member of the Dynein light intermediate chain protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include LIC2, cytoplasmic dynein 1 light intermediate chain 2, LIC-2, LIC53/55, dynein light intermediate chain 2, cytosolic, and DNCLI2.
