WDR81 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein WD repeat domain 81, which is encoded by the WDR81 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to function as a negative regulator of the PI3 kinase/PI3K activity associated with endosomal membranes via BECN1, a core subunit of the PI3K complex. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1941 residues, a mass of 211.7 kDa, and is a member of the WD repeat WDR81 protein family. It is known to be localized in the membrane, cytoplasmic vesicles, mitochondria, lysosomes and cytoplasm and is widely expressed across many tissue types. As many as 6 protein isoforms have been reported. The WDR81 gene has been associated with the disease, Cerebellar ataxia, impaired intellectual development, and dysequilibrium syndrome. Other alias names for this target include WD repeat-containing protein 81 and protein phosphatase 1, regulatory subunit 166.
Some WDR81 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
