The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 677 residues, a mass of 76.7 kDa, and is a member of the NADPH--cytochrome P450 reductase protein family; Flavodoxin protein family; Flavoprotein pyridine nucleotide cytochrome reductase protein family. It is known to be localized in the ER. The POR gene has been associated with the disease, Antley-Bixler syndrome.
