LCK ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein LCK proto-oncogene, Src family tyrosine kinase, which is encoded by the LCK gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in the apoptotic pathway and innate immune responses. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 509 residues, a mass of 58 kDa, and is a member of the Tyr protein kinase protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and cytoplasm and is notably expressed in lymphoid cells. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally palmitoylated, myristoylated and phosphorylated. The LCK gene has been associated with the disease, Immunodeficiency. Other alias names for this target include LSK, YT16, p56lck, pp58lck, tyrosine-protein kinase Lck, and IMD22.
Some LCK ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
