These HSP27 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of HSP27 in biological samples. HSP27 is an alias of the human HSPB2 gene, which encodes the protein, heat shock protein family B (small) member 2. The protein is believed to regulate the kinase DMPK. The HSPB2 protein is described to be 182 amino acid residues in length and 20.2 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is noted to be expressed preferentially in skeletal muscle and heart but not in the lens. Other names for this target antigen include Hs.78846.
Some HSP27 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 9.4 pg/mL and as high as 120 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
