These APJ ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of APJ in biological samples. APJ is an alias of the human APLNR gene, which encodes the protein, apelin receptor. Notably, APJ is known to play a role in angiogenesis and blood vessel development, among other functions. The APLNR protein is described to be 380 amino acid residues in length and 42.7 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is found to be expressed in heart, brain, kidney, stomach, spleen, thymus, lung, ovary, small intestine and colon, adipose tissues and pancreas. This protein is known to be glycosylated. Other names for this target antigen include AGTRL1 and APJR.
The detection range for different APJ ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.78 ng/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
