FCN2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ficolin 2, which is encoded by the FCN2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is believed to function in innate immunity through activation of the lectin complement pathway. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 313 residues, a mass of 34 kDa, and is a member of the Ficolin lectin protein family. It is known to be secreted and is notably expressed by the liver and secreted in plasma. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include FCNL, P35, 37 kDa elastin-binding protein, L-ficolin, collagen/fibrinogen domain-containing protein 2, and EBP-37.
The detection range for different FCN2 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 15.6 pg/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
