FOLH1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein folate hydrolase 1, which is encoded by the FOLH1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to have both folate hydrolase and N-acetylated-alpha-linked-acidic dipeptidase (NAALADase) activity. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 750 residues, a mass of 84.3 kDa, and is a member of the Peptidase M28 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and cytoplasm and is reported to be highly expressed in prostate epithelium. As many as 8 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally cleaved and glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include FOLH, GCP2, GCPII, NAALAD1, PSM, PSMA, mGCP, and FGCP.
Some FOLH1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 31.2 pg/mL and as high as 600 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
