These SASP ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of SASP in biological samples. SASP is an alias of the human TXN gene, which encodes the protein, thioredoxin. Notably, SASP is known to play a role in the regulation of transcription, among other functions. The TXN protein is 105 amino acid residues in length and 11.7 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus, cytoplasm, and is secreted. This protein is known to be ubiquitinated. Other names for this target antigen include TRDX, TRX, and TRX1.
Some SASP ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 31.2 pg/mL and as high as 2000 pg/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
