MMP11 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein matrix metallopeptidase 11, which is encoded by the MMP11 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is believed to play an important role in the progression of epithelial malignancies. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 488 residues, a mass of 54.6 kDa, and is a member of the Peptidase M10A protein family. It is known to be localized in the extracellular matrix and is secreted and is notably expressed in stromal cells of breast carcinomas. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally cleaved. Other alias names for this target include ST3, STMY3, stromelysin-3, matrix metallopeptidase 11 (stromelysin 3), stromelysin III, and SL-3.
Some MMP11 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 15.6 pg/mL and as high as 200 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
