KRT7 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein keratin 7, which is encoded by the KRT7 gene in humans. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 469 residues, a mass of 51.4 kDa, and is a member of the Intermediate filament protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in cultured epidermal, bronchial and mesothelial cells but absent in colon, ectocervix and liver. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally methylated. Other alias names for this target include K2C7, K7, SCL, keratin, type II cytoskeletal 7, CK-7, cytokeratin 7, keratin 7, type II, and CK7.
Some KRT7 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
