PPIB ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein peptidylprolyl isomerase B, which is encoded by the PPIB gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported PPIase that catalyzes the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides and may therefore assist protein folding. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 216 residues, a mass of 23.7 kDa, and is a member of the Cyclophilin-type PPIase protein family. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. The PPIB gene has been associated with the disease, Osteogenesis imperfecta. Other alias names for this target include CYPB, HEL-S-39, OI9, SCYLP, peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase B, PPIase B, S-cyclophilin, and CYP-S1.
There are PPIB ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 31.25 pg/mL and as high as 2000 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
