The Cytokeratin 7 ELISA kits listed below utilize specific antibodies for the plate-based assay of Cytokeratin 7 in various samples. Cytokeratin 7 is another term for the KRT7 gene, which encodes the protein, keratin 7 in humans. Structurally, the KRT7 protein is described to be 469 amino acid residues in length and 51.4 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in cultured epidermal, bronchial and mesothelial cells but absent in colon, ectocervix and liver. This protein is known to be methylated. Other names for this target antigen include CK7, K2C7, and K7.
Some Cytokeratin 7 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 5000 pg/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
